Port Hole Cafe & Gift Shop

The Port Hole Cafe & Gift Shop was opened in May of 1997 to provide the last part of the main museum area. Since its opening it has become a favorite stopping place for tourists and locals. The view from the Cafe changes as the tidal river comes in and goes out.

This cozy maritime Cafe is a great place to have a refreshing drink or even a light lunch made from the finest baking the Parrsboro Shore has to offer.

The Gift Shop offers world class works of art, pottery, books, and paintings, by local artisans that reflect the shipbuilding tradition of the Parrsboro area. The Gift Shop is filled with unique items specific to the Age of Sail Heritage Centre.

Open daily during the summer, the cafe; and gift shop is staffed by local volunteers and students knowledgeble about local history and other points of interest.
